How Does VW 4MOTION® All-Wheel Drive Work?
On other vehicles, all-wheel drive boosts your traction and handling around Pampa by adjusting engine output to each individual wheel. VW 4MOTION® takes your performance a few steps further with unique technology. 4MOTION® monitors your terrain at all times, manipulating your torque and output to boost your performance to the next level. While all tires are engaged, the system will distribute about 90% of power to the front axle and about 10% to the rear axle.
